The A7Sii camera features a 35mm sensor with large pixels for high-ISO and Dynamic Range; 12.2MP full-frame optimized for 4K and unbeatable for low light image acquisition; uncompressed 4:2:2 Full HD and 4K QFHD output via HDMI1; 50Mbps XAVC S 1920×1080 at 60P, 1280×720 at 120P and simple connectivity to smartphones via Wi-Fi or NFC. Audio
Professional audio is a pain point with other “DSLR” type cameras, but Sony’s UWP-D series UHF synthesized wireless microphone system allows ease of use with the MI Shoe adapter included in the kit. This microphone system includes a lavalier microphone, bodypack transmitter and portable diversity tuner. Cold shoe mounting adapter for camcorder included. UHF-TV Channels 30 to 36 and 38 to 41. The UWP-D16 includes extremely robust metal construction, mic/line input selection on the bodypack transmitter, a miniature metal body omni-directional microphone and the receiver includes a convenient auto channel scanning function allowing automatic search for unoccupied channels.
Lens Selection
The kit contains an assortment of lenses to handle the majority of tasks a videographer faces.
Battery Grip
The included battery grip not only doubles the battery capacity and record time, but also gives the camera extra heft, making the camera more comfortable to handle, particularly with the larger lenses.
